The Dona Helena Hospital Brand
The Dona Helena logo represents the humanization of the hospital through its relationship with patients, conveying the idea of proximity, care, and compassion in treating people.
It is formed by the stylization of a hand and a bird which, together, form a heart. The hand represents care for life; extended upward, it symbolizes helping others. The heart represents love and the value placed on human beings.
The image of the hand is rich in symbolism. In many cultures, it is associated with healing. The hands are the ones that sow, build, transform, and create. They see through touch and express feelings and ideas through gestures. They can connect one individual to another with a greeting and, through deeper gestures, offer support and assistance. They represent the safety and care that a mother or father can give a child. They express solidarity, like a handshake or a friendly hug in times of pain. Ultimately, they protect.
The bird can also be seen as a dove that conveys peace, life, joy, hope, rebirth, lightness, freedom, and well-being.
The logo, drawn harmoniously, with each element carrying its own symbolism, has an oval shape, whose symbolism conveys life, renewal, and fertility.
It is now in its third graphic version, reflecting the institution’s current vocation as a Complete Healthcare Ecosystem.
